Built from decades of practice
Reflecta didn't begin with a technology idea. It began with a question that we had been sitting with for years...
"How do we give every coach, regardless of where they are in the world, the kind of reflective support that genuinely deepens their practice?"

The gap we kept seeing.
After decades of coaching, supervising, and developing coaches across organisations and continents, Karen and Jenny kept observing the same thing. Reflection — the very thing that separates a good coach from a transformative one — was the piece most often rushed, deferred, or lost entirely. By the time a supervision session arrived, the moment had closed.

The conversation that became Reflecta.
Over years of shared conversations, experimentation, and practice, an idea took shape:
What if coaches had a space available to them immediately after a session — something that could hold their reflection, surface patterns over time, and prepare them for richer human supervision?
Reflecta is the answer to that question.
"To give coaches a place to pause, notice, and understand their own way of being — and to extend that support abundantly, beyond the limits of time and geography."

Jenny Hoggarth
Executive Coach · Entrepreneur · Early AI Pioneer in Coaching
Jenny's career began with computer science and psychology — an early signal of a lifelong passion for both people and technology. She built a successful executive career in the IT industry through the 1980s and 90s before moving into executive coaching and helping pioneer the field during its formative years.
She completed a Master’s degree in Executive Development and Coaching at Middlesex University alongside many other related studies, leading to more than 25 years of impactful coaching across organisations, industries and countries — a practice she continues to actively expand and evolve.
Alongside the individual executive coaching work she loves, Jenny remains active in business and is involved in large philanthropic initiatives, all driven by the intent to create wider strategic impact beyond one-to-one work.
Jenny began experimenting with AI in coaching in 2022, building her first coaching bot when the platforms were still in their infancy. That curiosity has evolved continuously, and the question guiding this work remains the same:
How do we share the impact of coaching and supervision abundantly, without being constrained by time, cost or geography?
Reflecta is the most complete expression of that exploration so far, especially in the way its unique methodology combines AI with human insight and connection.

Karen White
Master Certified Coach (MCC) · Coach Developer · Supervisor
Karen describes herself simply: "I am a curious and forever learner." That quality — a genuine openness to what she doesn't yet know — has been the thread running through her work, first in multiple corporate leadership roles, and for the past 20+ years as a coach.
As a Master Certified Coach since 2017, Karen brings thousands of coaching hours to her work with individuals, coaches, and organisations globally. But it is her long commitment to developing coaches that has most shaped her contribution to the field. She is Director of Training for the Ontological Coaching Institute, where she has been a course leader and faculty member since 2015, co-leading both foundational and advanced programmes across South Africa, Europe, and the USA.
Her approach is grounded in Ontological Coaching — a methodology that works with language, emotion, and body as a unified whole. She draws on adult development theory, somatic awareness, and more than two decades of experience supporting coaches in becoming more perceptive, more present, and more effective. Reflecta is the natural extension of that work: a way of making what she has offered throughout her career available more widely.
Over 50 years of experience combined into one platform.
